In the first few days of owning this cookbook, I had to try the truffle/fontina pizza, flattened chicken, lemony potatoes, honey glazed/rosemary carrots, roasted tomato soup and the penne arrabiata. The flavors are complex and so pleasing to the palate that it is a surprise how simple and fast these dishes are to create. Very highly recommended.
I haven’t used the cookbook but my wife enjoys it.
I am a lover of food and passionate cook. I constantly read about food: especially origins, preparation and presentation. This book is definitely in my top 10. Ms. Marden is New York's answer to Suzanne Goin, only a bit younger and newer in the field. The recipes are easy to follow, delicious and nutritious. The simplicity and elegance of her selections make for a delightful culinary experience from shopping to preparation to cooking and, of course, eating. I highly recommend this book!
Very pretty pictures of all the dishes but there aren't very many recipes inside. I was not overwhelmed with the recipes.

Good recipes, but not as many as I expect in a cookbook. There could have been less stories and more recipes.
