This is a very good study of the Westminster Confession and Catechisms. However, the binding is not really sturdy enough for frequent use, which hinders its use as a study guide. Also, the fact that the answers are in the back of the book limits its use in more formal classes. But the content is great.

This is a very helpful and useful study guide to the Westminster Confession of Faith. It has become our "go to" guide when we have a question on the Confession and reading it devotionally from beginning to end gives a very helpful overall understanding of the Confession. Dr. Pipa has done a marvelous job!
There might be something missing, but if there is I haven't noticed it yet. Use it as is or as a resource to put together your own confirmation/catechism curriculum.
All believer's in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross should study this book. The Bible is the perfect foundation, however, this book helps to organize those thoughts into a logical order or Systematic Theology.
Found this useful in the church and especially useful in our work with inmates in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Because it includes the answers it allows men to work through it on their own without the frustration of waiting for a response from someone on the outside to see if they were on target. I just ordered another 20 to respond to a request from one of the men we have worked with for several years, he is in a seminary program in another unit and has asked for copies for all the guys in that program. Helpful materials are too rarely found in the prison system and we are delighted to be able to provide these men with a good introduction to and study of the Reformed Faith.
